A. General Provisions. Except as provided in Bylaw 190C, only those actions or measures which have been considered at a meeting of the Faculty Legislature may be submitted to a ballot of the voting membership of the Division. B. Conduct of the Balloting. At least five days before the transmittal of ballots, the Vice Chair/Secretary of the Division sends to each voter all relevant texts and a brief summary of the arguments submitted. Completed ballots must be returned to the Vice Chair/Secretary at a date specified by the Committee on Rules, Jurisdiction, and Elections. The voting is conducted as described in divisional Bylaw 195 E 3. All ballots received by the stipulated return date are counted by the Committee on Rules, Jurisdiction, and Elections, and at the next meeting of the Faculty Legislature, the Vice Chair/Secretary announces the number of affirmative votes, the number of negative votes, and the number of invalid ballots cast.
